* Use of the hosting account as a repository for any kind of data not associated to the main website and/or for distribution of data not related to the main website. A good example of this would be warez files and warez websites.
* Use of the hosting account to offer adult content, mp3 downloads, or software downloads of software other than software that is produced by the owner of the website.
* Use of the hosting account as a repository for any kind of files that are not linked with-in the main website.
* Use of the hosting account to store web pages, files or data for other IP addresses or domain names that are off of our network.

Internet Connection is one of the few ISPs that allow you to have your own SMTP server for sending email.

SMTP is the protocol by which e-mail is sent out to the world. Each account with Internet Connection comes with its own SMTP server through which account users can send out their e-mail, ensuring that outbound e-mail from your domain name will appear as coming from the account's domain name, and making for a more professional appearance in e-mail responses to those who send you email at your domain name.

With 50 email accounts, you can easily provide everyone in your organization with their own email address. Internet Connection's mail server support both the IMAP and POP protocols.

Email autoresponders allow you to set up an automated message that is sent in response to an incoming e-mail message. This is very handy when you go on vacation or even if you'd simply like to let the sender know you received their message. Autoresponders are also great if you need to e-mail a newsletter, catalog, etc. back to the sender, in response to their incoming email. For example, an email sent to catalog@YourDomainName.com, would automatically reply back to the Sender with the catalog.

Autoresponders can be configured for email boxes, as well as for forwarded and aliased email addresses. Having the ability to have an autoresponse from a forwarded / aliased email address makes the Internet Connection hosting solution unique in our industry. For example, if someone were to send an email to sales@YourDomainName.com, the autoresponder could respond back and introduce your sales team, provide additional contact information, talk about your sales philosophy, or even introduce new services and/or products.

netAdmin is a Modular Management Platform developed specially by Internet Connection for our customers. Like the other products bundled with Internet Connection's website hosting accounts, netConsole and netMail, the netAdmin is web-based and can be accessed by any computer with a connection to the Internet and a web browser.

Put simply, the Domain Name System, or DNS, is what makes a domain name resolve to the appropriate IP address. Every domain name points to one, two, or more DNS servers that handle resolution for that domain. MySQL and PostgreSQL are supported on our Linux (unix) hosting accounts. Each account includes 10 MySQL databases and/or 10 PostgreSQL databases with 100MB of disk space dedicated to it. Additional databases must be set up on a per account basis and cost $10 to set up and $1.00/mo. thereafter.

MS-SQL databases start with 100 MB of space, additional space available at 5 cents per megabyte.
