Create and modify automated email messages, generated in response to incoming emails. Autoresponders are commonly applied to a mailbox when one is going to be away for a business trip or vacation, and they want to let email senders know that they will be away from email, or if they want to provide senders with alternate contact information. Others use Autoresponders as an email receipt, acknowledging to senders that the message was received. A novel application of Autoresponders is to distribute an on-demand email newsletter.

Autoresponders can be set on mailboxes and forwarding email addresses via the netConsole or emailAdmin. Using emailAdmin gives added versatility by allowing individual email users to both customize and schedule their own autoresponder, to only be active for a specified time interval that would cover an upcoming business trip or vacation.

Unsolicited bulk email messages and email-borne computer viruses are perhaps the most annoying aspects of email communication. Clogging Inboxes all over the Internet, Spam is an everpresent nuisance that takes valuable time to sift through in search of your legitimate messages. Viruses can be even more devastating, costing not only precious time in system cleanup or recovery, but also in irrecoverable data loss. In the Information Age where losing time or data is unacceptable, using proper tools as preventative measures can go a long way. Our very own SVFilter is one such tool that fits the bill, offering both Spam and Virus Filtration in one package.

To curb Spam, SVFilter employs a specially developed scoring system to accurately distinguish between legitimate messages and those that are Spam. Legitimate messages arrive in your Inbox as normal while but those SVFilter identifies as Spam are temporarily stored elsewhere for later retrieval or whitelisting should you so desire. The emailAdmin is an intuitive java-based tool, which allows email users at your domain, to perform simple administrative tasks on their own mail accounts. From a web browser, or from their own desktop - individual email users can log into emailAdmin, by using their email address username and password. Once in, they can modify their own email account password, edit and enable their own autoresponders, schedule autoresponders for activation over specified time intervals (e.g. for during vacations, business trips, etc.), and even set up their own email forwarding for their email box.

This handy tool gives added convenience to your Users, and they need not rely on the site administrator for these tasks. (The site Administrator can also perform these same tasks through netConsole.)
